Perhaps not completly legal I'm not sure about that but it seems to work for me with watches shipped from singapore and Hong Kong to me. The reason why the watches ship from the US is because I prefer to do the QC work here to make sure all of the assembly work is done correctly. In addition I also do the final installation of the bezel inserts here in the US because I want the alignment to be as perfect as possible. If I were to contract that part of the assembly out I am not sure it would get the attention that it needs. If someone can educate me as to how to get the watches into the EU legally without incurring such a high penalty for consumers there I would love to hear it. Its an area that I have to do more research on. An Omega 300 homage is something to consider thank you for suggestion.
