The only way to ship the watches without your customers having to pay large taxes is: ship them as a sample, non commercial value or as a gift. Perhaps not completly legal I'm not sure about that but it seems to work for me with watches shipped from singapore and Hong Kong to me.

Regards,

Jos

PS: I really look forward to this new watch from you.

@Deano: Switzerland is not part of the EU. You have to pay customs as well if shipped from there directly to any EU country.

@Bill: I guess there is no legal option. It's just the way global economies work...
BTW, I love your work!

An Omega 300 homage is something to consider thank you for suggestion.

As for shipping to the EU I wish I knew of an easy way to do this. The reason why the watches ship from the US is because I prefer to do the QC work here to make sure all of the assembly work is done correctly. In addition I also do the final installation of the bezel inserts here in the US because I want the alignment to be as perfect as possible. If I were to contract that part of the assembly out I am not sure it would get the attention that it needs. If someone can educate me as to how to get the watches into the EU legally without incurring such a high penalty for consumers there I would love to hear it. Its an area that I have to do more research on.

Bill, congrats on the new watch, its a classic.

I have a question about the Swiss models (inc the MMT Swiss).

What is the deal with the shipping..?? I have got 4 watches from you in the US sent to Europe and a few of them get caught in customs, and that means +22%.

Is there any option for the Swiss watches to be sent directly from Switzerland to us people in Europe.??

This would save in both customs fees and also international shipping to us. Not to mention shipping the watch originally from the EU to the US.

Looking forward to your answer.

Thanks

Hi Marcel,

Thank you for your kind feedback. I will be posting more detailed photos and photos of more variations as often as I can before the official launch.

That is one beautiful watch, great job! I guess I´ll make my first foray into custom watches with one of those, can´t wait.
Again, beautiful work, please post more photos.
