LRRP status

The following is a copy of the e-mail that just went out….

Dear Customers,

The first batch of parts are on their way to Switzerland for assembly. As some of you already know ETA requires that the higher end movements like the 2893-2 be cased in Switzerland before export. That means that the pre-built watches and the custom watches can not be started until this first batch comes back from the assembler. The lead time is usually about 10 working days and the parts are expected to arrive in Switzerland later today Monday the 23rd.

This should mean that delivery of the watches will begin around the second/third week of March. I will forward more updates as they become available.

Best Regards,

Bill Yao

  1. This speaks to the status of the pre-ordered watches. However, It would be nice to know when you plan on accepting general orders for this watch.

  2. Bill,

Sorry for the public posting, but I’m afraid you won’t get me email on time. If I order a pre-built Sea Fighter OCN, can you get it to my bro in NYC before he flies over here on the 10th of March?

    Thanks, brother.

  3. Thought I’d follow-up on my previous post. I’m still checking every day to see if general ordering of the LRRP has opened up. I’d really like to know when I can place an order for one of these watches!

  4. Hi Ronnie,

Ironically I would have seen your e-mail first this time. Unfortunately things are so hectic here between the LRRP and upcoming Baselworld that I wouldn’t have been able to meet that timetable…sorry.

    Best,

    Bill
